As parents of kids with autism, we optimistically look forward to a day where they (and we) can experience independence. Statistics say 80% of the 300,000+ kids diagnosed with autism are 18 or younger. That means 20% of our Autism Community is now immersed in getting answers and evaluating options. But just what are those options? And how does one go about evaluating alternatives? I’d like to find that out… for all of us! So I’m doing some research and with this video... See it here: http://www.autismhangout.com/video/default.asp?id=12 ----------------- This discussion thread is set up so we can all freely talk about options for our kids. What's working and what isn't? If you've had a successful experience, please tell us about it here. If you've had a bad one, that's fair game, too. Also, if you're in the market, tell us your story and what you think might work. If we all put our heads together, something really good could happen!
